So I had that doodle and I wasn’t happy with it so I decided to take it into Photoshop and work on it a bit. I wasn’t originally going to color him like Smaug (even though he was sort drawn with that in mind) but I changed my mind.
Another doodle in my sketchbook. Sorry for the potato quality. Maybe I should invest in a better scanner. >< Mine likes to make things fuzzy so I take pictures with my phone (which is also a potato)
Did a little touch up in photoshop to make it a bit nicer. Weeee for being distracted in class!
I doodled this guy in my sketchbook and decided to color him as practice. definitely learned some stuff while working on it but still have a long way to go digitally.
So this was a commission for a friend of mine on FA of one of her Flight Rising dragons. I gotta say she’s a pretty plague dragon~
I would like to do more portraits like this in the future and maybe some full body sketches but we’ll see if I can get any interests. ><
So this was for my digital narrative class. We had to take a story or work of literature and use it as our base for the semester. I ended up choosing to do the Lost Years of Merlin series as my inspiration for the semester. For the first project we were supposed to do an environment study. I chose the Shrouded Castle from the first book because it seemed like my cup o’ tea. This was my first time ever doing an environment so there is a lot that needs improving but for only just starting digital painting within the last year I think I am slowly starting to get the hang of it. I will redo this later in the semester and touch up the issues, but I wanted to post something since it’s been so long.
I want to show proof that I am not a completely lazy person! I might have spent the last week playing Skyrim nonstop…BUT THAT DOESN’T MATTER I ARTTED.
Clearly a WIP
This is a LONG LONG LONG overdue sorta commission that I wanted to actually sit down and finish. It is of his Charr Elementalist from Guild Wars 2 which I have never played. It has been a real challenge for me with clothes and armor and such. However I am feeling pretty good about it. I really want to see it finished.
This was an assignment for my digital illustration class. We were supposed to design an animal or creature in a Polynesian style. While I think the black and white one is alright, I wanted to color it to see how it looked. This was my second attempt at coloring him and honestly one of my best digital paintings. :> Done with SAI over a few hours.
Since I haven’t uploaded anything for awhile I wanted to show I have been arting! This is still a WIP but I am starting to feel more comfortable with color. This is my digital illustration assignment taken to the next level. This was solely for my sanity and practice
